John L. Rogers
John manages the development, acquisition, and brokerage activities of Portfolio Properties and its related companies. John is responsible for new business development, project management, and transaction management. Prior to joining Portfolio Properties, John served as an acquisitions officer for a large private multi-state real estate syndicator and as a commercial broker for the national multi-housing group of an international real estate advisory and brokerage firm. John has over 14 years of transaction and project based real estate experience. John holds a BA from The George Washington University, and an MBA from the University of St. Francis. He is a licensed real estate broker and holds numerous professional designations and awards. John serves on the Architectural Review Committee for the Village of Homer Glen, and is a regular member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.

John E. Rogers
John E. Rogers founded Portfolio Properties in the early 1980s to invest in real estate and acquire the assets of the F.G. Lucas Company. John serves as Managing Partner for all related development, operating partnerships, and investment vehicles. His areas of focus include general administration of firm business, real estate investment and development, debt structuring, and private placements. Prior to starting Portfolio, John was a member in a global accounting firm and Chief Tax Officer for a Fortune 500 Company. John is also a member in a leading international law firm and serves as an adjunct professor of International Finance at IIT. John is a founding director of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate. John holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of Chicago (GSB), and a JD from Harvard Law School. John is a licensed attorney, real estate broker, and CPA.

Frank G. Lucas
Founder; The F.G. Lucas Company (Continuously Incorporated since 1923 - current as Lucas & Rogers).
During his lifetime, Frank amassed a large portfolio of Chicago Style Courtyard Apartment Buildings and Commercial Properties as well as significant land holdings in and around Chicagoland. Frank was instrumental in helping Will County farmers during the 1940s and 50s acquire ownership of the farms on which they worked. We continue to be guided by Frank’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit and simple philosophy of- fair-dealing and investment in growth areas.
